Top 10 Fashion Models who Committed Suicide

Top 10 Fashion Models who Committed Suicide

Fashion models are praised for the glamourous lifestyle they lead but their world also has a darkside. All that glitters is not gold; we heard this aphorism on countless occasions in life. The glitz and glamour of the modelling world looks fascinating and appealing from afar and for a random person like you and me it’s a magical life! Lights, lavish and high-priced clothes; breath-taking shoes and accessories; striking hair-dos and dazzling after-parties dominate life on the runway. But there is some kind of emptiness or void that accompanies people in the modelling world which leads to tragic endings. Suicides are quite common in the world of modelling. Suicides in that world are so frequent that it can be termed ‘Fashion’s worst trend’. History has been witness to the tragic stories of models who committed suicides in spite of successful careers in the ramp. Let us have a look at some of those stars whose curtains closed before their time.

She was a Gladrags model and an Indian television actress who worked in ‘Kohinoor’, ‘Hip Hip Hurray’, ‘C.A.T.S’ and ‘Special Squad’. She ended her life on 8th February 2006 by hanging herself. Randhawa’s death had an eerie similarity to her friend’s Nafisha Joseph’s who too left this world in a similar fashion. It was strange as her friends and family seemed to have thought that things were looking up for her better modelling assignments and television roles.

Wasim Akram is making his debut in film industry

Former Pakistan’s cricketer Wasim Akram will reportedly make his acting debut in Nikhil Advani's next film, Patiala House. The film will also include stars like Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Dimpla Kapadia and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’s heroine Anushka Sharma. Patiala House is apparently based on cricket and Wasim Akram will play coach to Akshay Kumar’s cricket team.
It will be shot in London and is expected to release next year in Pakistan. The music will be scored by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics will be written by Sameer. The last movie by Nikhil and Akshay Kumar was Chadni Chowk and it was not much of a hit in Pakistan. Whereas his directed movie Kal Ho Na Ho was a great hit in Pakistan.
Wasim Akram already has had a taste of Bollywood when Wasim Akram judged the dance show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena with Sushmita Sen.
Pakistan has yet another reason to be proud of Wasim Akram. Wasim Akram has been a great cricketer and one hopes that he will be as good in acting and make Pakistan even more proud.

Wasim Akram Bio

Wasim Akram (born June 3, 1966 in Lahore, Punjab) is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman, who represented the Pakistani cricket team in Tests and One Day Internationals. Widely regarded as one of the finest fast bowlers ever, Akram holds world records for the most wickets taken in List A cricket (881), and is second only to Muttiah Muralitharan in terms of ODI wickets (502). He is considered to be one of the pioneers of reverse swing bowling.[1][2][3] The revolutionary nature of reverse swing initially resulted in accusations of ball tampering, although reverse swing has now been accepted as a legitimate feature of the game. Akram's later career was also tarnished with accusations of match fixing, although these remain unproven.

Mohib mirza Actor is an award-winning Pakistani  icon,

Mohib is an award-winning Pakistani icon, internationally acclaimed for his heartfelt talent.Recently we got the chance to have some grilling hot questions with the hunk so here you go.
1. How come you landed in acting? How was your 1st experience? And do you still remember that?
Acting was neither a hobby, nor a coincidence for me. I always wanted to pursue it, professionally and passionately. My first experience of acting was theater. It will always remain memorable for me because of the huge turn up of viewers (beyond our expectations) and the overwhelming appreciation we got.
2. When did you start taking acting seriously as a profession?
Much before I actually started it!
3. Share one thing you dislike about acting? Or being an actor?

If there is anything that is not in line with my preferences, I tone it, instead of hating it. Besides, I believe everything we get in life comes in package deals. By hating any aspect of what one is gifted with after his efforts and prayers; is self-defeating.
4. What was your most rewarding moment / experience as an actor up till now?
Winning the Best Actor Award at the International Filmmakers’ Festival in UK for my debut performance in a film
5. Your inspiration as an actor?
I wouldn’t call any single one as an inspiration. But there are many actors that were favorites, in different ages – ranging from Robert De Niro to Hugh Jackman
6. How do you perceive the television industry as a medium? And what changes you have observed in recent times in comparison with PTV’s golden era?
After cinema, television is the strongest medium. The changes in this industry have been drastic over the years; all the way from variety in choice of roles, to international recognition. I think this growth has brought challenge and opportunity with it – both of which enable quality content.
7. Any challenging role you have done till date or is it yet to come?
Have been shooting a project in Baltistan in Skardu, Hunza and Gilgit region recently with temperature ranging from 0 to -12 degrees. I think it was one of the most challenging ones.
8. If you could be reborn and given a chance to be born as any one of the veteran actors, who would you choose and why?
Muhib Mirza. It’s a waste of myself trying to be anyone else, even if given a million lives.
9. One thing you look before accepting any offer?
The role, first and foremost
